"The Producers"
February 13, 2019

2.14.19 Wanted to tell you again how much I enjoyed myself yesterday. The theatre, the play, and of course all those on the bus made for a most pleasurable time. If my husband were alive, yesterday would have been his birthday and I believe I celebrated it in grand style.   Rebecca W.

2.16.19  Another great trip and thanks to George for his great driving.  Georgann D.

2.16.19  We loved the show.   Tomi & Tom F.

The weather was not pretty when we headed out of South Bend, but it completely cleared up by the time we got west of LaPorte.  Luckily, the trip was not scheduled for the day before when we had the ice covering the roads.

Our first stop was lunch at the Fireside Grille in Sugar Grove, Illinois.   We were seated in a private room and early enough that the lunch bunch had not filled the restaurant yet.  We were privileged to have a delightful couple from England who were visiting here with friends.

We were first served a lovely dinner salad.

Then our entree of choice.

Tilapia

Meatloaf

BBQ Ribs

Or Chef's Salad

The lobby of the lovely Paramount Theatre in Aurora, Illinois.

The inside of the theatre.  Of course, pictures are never allowed of the stage or the production.

We are always asked to wait 15 minutes for our bus to pick us up, so I snapped some photos of some of our passengers waiting in the lobby.  There were 7 small buses from the area senior/assisted living centers, so the wait makes it easy for them to board their buses and clear the way for our large bus to pull in.  This works out very well for us.

It was a very enjoyable day after spending so much time indoors with the weather we have been having.
