Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort
July 18 - 20, 2017

Our first visit to Soaring Eagle was a hit with everyone.  A beautiful resort with plenty of relaxation if you chose to enjoy their amenities.  The hotel was sold out both nights we were there and the casino was hoppin'!

The hallway from the hotel rooms to the casino.

Seating outside a grab-n-go type of deli just outside the casino floor.

Isabella's where we had breakfast one morning and dinner one evening.  The prices were very affordable.

Tom having breakfast in Legend's Diner.

Keith Urban was having a concert the night we left and Soaring Eagle was holding a breakfast with Keith Urban.

There isn't much else to do in that part of "Pure Michigan", but we found that the original Cops and Doughnuts was located about 20 minutes down the road in Clare, Michigan.  The George, our driver, suggested an Amish store also located in Clare, so whoever wanted to go boarded the bus in the morning on Wednesday and headed a little bit north.

Cops and Doughnuts was very busy, but we took the time to grab a donut and a cup of coffee to enjoy there.

Sorry, I did not take any pictures at the Amish store.  They offered the usual items that we find at the Amish stores - books, kitchen items, hardware, children's toys, etc.  They made nice sales from our group.

The resort area is lovely with an indoor pool and hot tub, an outdoor hot tub, and a beautiful lounging area.

Beautiful night shot of the fountains.

Early Thursday afternoon, it was time to depart.

I am always the picture-taker, so rarely do I ever get to post a picture of myself.  Thank you to Tomi for allowing me to post some of the pictures she took.

Bye, bye to Soaring Eagle.
