Seadog Architectural Cruise
July 10, 2011

7.11.11 - We had a really nice time yesterday and I believe our friends did too. Thanks again. My mom always tells me what a nice job you do at planning everything and she was right. Have a great day and I am sure we will see you some time in the future. Cindy S.

7.10.11 - Thanks for the great day!    Kathi R.

As we boarded our 43 passengers to head to Chicago for a day on Navy Pier and a Seadog Architectural Cruise, the weather was promising us a picture perfect day!

The Chicago Skyline and Buckingham Fountain on the drive into the city.

We had about 1 1/2 hours prior to boarding to explore, shop and grab a bite to eat upon arrival.

Watching our boat come back from the early cruise.

It's now our turn to board.

We had the nicest young man from England as our narrator.

It was back through the locks again from the Chicago River onto Lake Michigan.  Whenever I have ridden the Seadog before, they gave us a fun fast 5 minute ride on the lake, but today they took us a long way out onto the lake for a great 20 minute speedboat ride!  One of our passengers even asked if they were taking us back to Indiana!  It turned out to be such a hot day, they must have thought we needed the wind blowing our hair and a bit of water spray on us, which was welcomed.  The lake was dotted with beautiful white sails from sailboats, and even a yacht with a helicopter on its roof.

We then loaded the bus and headed for Connie's Pizza for dinner which consisted of homemade bread, salad, 3 kinds of pizza and soft drinks.

We all left for home with full tummies and smiles on our faces.

Since I lost my camera on Navy Pier, a very special thank you to Tom B. and Kathi R. for sending me their pictures!!!!!
