Laughlin February: 6 of us decided to take the jet boat ride to Lake Havasu and the London Bridge.  It is a 2 hour ride down the Colorado River, 2 hours at London Bridge, and a 2 hour ride back.  An absolutely fabulous experience!

Horseshoe Casino:  Our bus was filled to the brim, so there were a lot of people eager to get out for the day.

Flower & Garden Show:  Another way to recycle those empty bottles besides putting them in the recycle bin.  There were tiny lights in the bottles that hung overhead.

The Illusionsists:  At the end of the show, "The Trickster" ended up giving back watches to 3 of the audience participants who never knew he "stole" them off their wrists.

Gun Lake & FireKeepers:  I think Kathy was explaining to us why you should eat dessert first!

Holland Tulip Festival:  If you would like your faith restored in today's youth, go to the Tulip Festival Parade next year.

Youth Group/Andrews Academy:  We had the pleasure of hosting a 9th Grade Youth Group from Andrews Osborne Academy in Willoughby, Ohio on a brief tour of Notre Dame while traveling through South Bend on their way to Chicago.

Opalescent Glass & Girssom Air Museum:  They estimate that 1/3 of the churches in the world contain stained glass windows made from glass from Opalescent Glass and 70% of their finished product is shipped overseas.

FireKeepers & Amish Dinner - May:  For dessert were 4 kinds of pies - peach, coconut creme, raspberry custard, and they served a bonus of rhubarb pie and vanilla ice cream. I chose coconut creme and rhubarb and hoped I would have room for the other 2 pies, but I was too full and just couldn't do it.

Sigma Phi Gamma:  We had the distinct pleasure of coordinating and hosting 4 day trips in South Bend, Amish Country and Michigan Wineries for a sorority service group which was holding their yearly convention at Century Center and The Doubletree in downtown South Bend.

Horseshoe Casino June:  Decisions, decisions on what flavor of gelato!

German Fest - Milwaukee:  Beer, brats, and potato pancakes are always some of the favorites when we go to Milwaukee for German Fest, and there was plenty of that and more!

Meijer Gardens:  This horse was quite an interesting piece made to look like it was sculpted from driftwood, but was actually bronze.

Chicago Air & Water Show:  After lunch, we were able to go to the deck lounge to watch the air show, with some breathtaking maneuvers by the Blue Angels.

FireKeepers Casino:  With their new procedure of scanning our players cards when exiting the bus to add our perks onto our cards, it went pretty quick considering there were 53 passengers.

Cubs vs Braves:  It's amazing to watch them groom the field before the game.  I'm not sure why they smooth out the sand and sprinkle it down, only to spread more dry sand over it.

Michigan's Upper Peninsula:  We were greeted by our guides and given brief instructions before choosing our fashionable Carhart jackets and hard hats.

New York City:  We departed and headed to the 911 Memorial site.  It was amazing how such a beautiful area could be so sad.

Tunica Casinos:  I know we had one nice winner on the bus and, hopefully, more than that who kept it a secret!

IKEA:  Some spotted Trader Joe's off by itself close to where the bus was parked.

Wine Trail:  On the way home, several asked when the next wine tasting tour was going to be.  I plan on having one put together soon for Spring 2016.

Milwaukee Foodie:  By the end of the tour, everyone was so full, they didn't even want to stop for ice cream.

Horseshoe Casino Oct.:  I'm not sure if this trip always sells out because they like playing at Horseshoe or if it's for the marvelous buffet.

Eli's Cheesecake:  The meat counter at Gene's was amazing, offering probably 15 - 20 varieties of fresh sausage, including potato sausage, Jalapeno sausage, lamb sausage, and too many more that I can't even remember.

Frankenmuth:  And Judy gave one of the penguins a good-night kiss.

FireKeepers & Essenhaus:  With this trip being scheduled in December and not knowing if the back roads would be snowy or icy, we scheduled our dinner at Das Dutchman Essenhaus instead.
