Photo Album 2012
Jersey Boys: After loading our 50 passengers, we headed down the road to Chicago with a lively group ready for some great theatre. First, it was lunch at Buca di Beppo's in downtown Chicago. Buca's is top-notch in all areas - food quality, service, friendliness, and atmosphere. I have to admit the atmosphere is a bit quirky, which adds to the fun and ambience that only Buca's can do right.
FireKeeper's & Rosie's: Family members are always sitting on the porch awaiting our arrival. Their children paid for and helped the building on the new home for Mom and Dad and the two homes are attached by a sort of breezeway. The new house is situated at the back of the prior house and certainly accommodated our 43 guests more comfortably with the open concept.
Poplewski 50th Anniversary: David and Mary Ann decided they wanted to share this important event with family and friends and wanted a bus trip set up to match our scheduled trip to "Little Warsaw". Wow....what a super idea!
Urtel/Sheldon Wedding Shuttle: These guests were mostly from Florida and stayed at the Waterford Estates Lodge on Indiana 933. Our motor coach was on-site as the guests were arriving back at the hotel from the wedding at Notre Dame.
German Fest - Milwaukee: The Milwaukee Festival Grounds sit right along the shoreline of Lake Michigan and measure about 1/2 mile long, so you never have to worry about walking off all of that great food.
Studebaker Drivers Club: We were again given the privilege to coordinate the day trips for the guests visiting South Bend for the 48th International Meet.
Flores/Tefft Wedding Shuttle: We shuttled the guests from Waterford Estates Lodge to Tippecanoe Place first for the reception, then proceeded to Notre Dame to pick up the bride and groom and the bridal party.
Magnificent Coastal Maine: There were 3 humpbacks together who gave us a great show. At one point, they slowly drifted right at the side of our boat, got within a few yards, dove under the boat, and surfaced on the other side.
Million Dollar Quartet: I don't think I would ever tire of seeing this outstanding show! Great music, high energy, and colorful characters.
Gun Lake & FireKeepers: I've always liked FireKeepers Casino, and never having been to Gun Lake, I was eager to try it out. They went above and beyond to welcome us and I love the casino as much as FireKeepers.
Jackson Prison: We then boarded the bus for a short trip down the road to what is now the working prison, which houses approximately 6,000 inmates at this time.
Little Warsaw: How would you like to have to tackle this traffic every day? I can't think of a better reason to travel anywhere by motor coach!
Notre Dame vs Michigan State: We were contacted by an employee of Notre Dame who was trying to secure a bus for some Notre Dame employees and friends to go to the Notre Dame vs Michigan State game in East Lansing. Yes, that is an Indian Trails bus you see......Cardinal had been sold out for months.
Tunica & Memphis Zoo: We stopped along the side of the road where it looked as though a cotton farmer left one patch of cotton for the tourists to pick.
I Love Lucy: Yes, there is no video or audio allowed once you get inside the theatre, but without a flash, what's the harm???
FireKeepers Casino: We then headed to Rosie's house for a great Amish dinner. How would you like to cook dinner for 44 guests?
Eli's & More: Before we could depart for home, coolers and bags had to be re-packed and packages rearranged so everything could fit in the luggage compartment. This was a day of food power-shopping!
Oak Ridge Boys 2012: Santa arrived riding his Peterbilt sleigh and passed out Santa hats to all the kids in the audience.
Christkindlmarket: I was so fortunate to have been there when these 4 children were looking in the Macy's windows. Almost like in the movies!!
The Oliver Inn: What a lovely evening in beautiful Christmas surroundings, warm and wonderful guests, the most gracious hosts, and superb food!
