The ladies I had the pleasure of traveling with across the aisle from me.
Upon our arrival in Laughlin, we the boarded motor coaches which took us to Riverside Resort. Everyone was on their own for 4 days to explore.
The view from our room.
One the first day, we visited the lower level classic car & antique slot machine museum. It's amazing that the coins in the antique slot machines coincide with the period of each machine.
The 2 machines below paid with gum balls and cigars.
The parking lot and Colorado River at night.
The weekend brought a huge amount of jet skis to the river. It was sure a good way to keep cool in that hot Nevada weather.
On Friday, we purchased a day-pass on the Water Taxi and headed out to hit every casino on the boardwalk. Below was the Captain on the first water taxi we took. All of the Captains are very eager to tell us their stories and experiences.
The beach at Harrah's.
The atrium at Golden Nugget.
Friday night was all-you-can-eat Seafood Buffet.
On Saturday, we explored what Riverside Resort had to offer, other than gaming. Below are their bowling lanes and one of the dance halls.
The pools were always crowded with people. This little girl was adorable and so proud of herself after she was brave enough to jump in the pool.
On Sunday morning, we visited the 2nd auto museum. The motorcycle below (and its driver, of course) took the longest journey around the world on a motorcycle.
We found Nancy & Joe grabbing a coffee before boarding our buses back to the airport.
With bags packed, it was time to head home.
