What a joy it was to get out of the long-lasting winter we are having.  The temperatures were in the high 80's and low 90's in Nevada and Arizona.  It felt pretty good to me!

The view from our room off our patio.

Some chose to take a side trip to Hoover Dam one day.

On another day, they went to the bottom of the Grand Canyon.  This is a great trip for a wonderful experience.  It's quite a ride 23 miles down to the bottom in a tour van.

An example of breakfast in the cafe at Riverside Resort.

View of the Colorado River from the cafe.

And dinner at the Mexican restaurant at Riverside.  I had already dug into it before thinking of taking the picture.

Of course, we had to go back to the old mining town of Oatman on a side trip - one of our favorite places.  Nadine, one of the burrows, was insisting on coming inside one of the gift shops.

There was a small country type festival going on in front of the Colorado Belle, so we took a stroll to listen to the music and enjoy the outdoors.

A very relaxing cruise down the Colorado River to Davis Dam again to enjoy the warm weather and the outdoors.  It's great seeing people enjoying the beach and camping when we know what's going on back home.  We never tire of it.
