10.15.16 Thanks Becky and travelstarz for another great trip!!!! It was a great day always a good time no matter where we go always good fun good friends good times. Janet B.
IKEA is a Swedish based company where you can buy anything and everything for your home, with the exception of anything that runs on electric, such as toasters, mixers, etc. It is a beautiful wide open European-style store offering home furnishings with simple clean lines. Their store is arranged into coordinating rooms to show what would go well together. A beautifully set up store. What a great way to shop if you are looking to update a specific room. The experience alone is worth the trip.
Upon arrival, many stopped first to get their IKEA Family card to take advantage of the discounts being offered that day.
Some serious shoppers checked out the computer to find where their needed item was located.
Then there's always time for lunch. Swedish meatballs with Lingonberry sauce.
In the lower level, there is a small Christmas decorations section.
And several unusual potted plants.
And the check-out lines.
After everyone was loaded with their purchases, we headed down the block to a strip mall which housed Home Goods, The Container Store, Trader Joe's, and many more stores. PetSmart was holding an adoption day for rescue dogs and I spent too much time loving up doggies to take any pictures there.
