FireKeepers Casino
October 2009

11.1.09 Even tho' I did not win any money at the casino, I had a good time, and really enjoyed the meal  at Miss  Rose's home. Food was excellent, and I was really impressed that she even had sugar free apple pie. The rice pudding, I think that is what it was called, was so good, and I would love to have the recipe.     Phyllis R.

Of course, we could not take pictures inside of the casino and it was raining much too hard all day to even take pictures of the outside.  The casino is huge and has wonderful spacious aisles in between the machines.  No squeezing when walking through!  They also had a large variety of machines that were new to most of us.  Some of the passengers won a little bit and most mentioned that the machines let you play a lot longer than most casinos.

After departing the casino, we stopped for an authentic Amish meal at Rosie's house.  Oh my...talk about delicious food and plenty of it!  The first pictures below are when we were all seated waiting to be served.

I had planned to take pictures of the platters and bowls of food when they were delivered to our table, but everything looked so good, I just dug in an started dishing out on my plate without taking pictures.  This is what was left after we ate.  Believe it or not, some had no room for dessert!
