FireKeepers Casino & Amish Dinner
On a drizzly and somewhat breezy day, what better to do than head to FireKeepers Casino for the day. With their new procedure of scanning our players cards when exiting the bus to add our perks onto our cards, it went pretty quick considering there were 53 passengers. Of course, again no pictures at the casino.
After our 4 hours of playing, we loaded back onto the bus and headed to the Carriage House in Topeka, Indiana for our Amish dinner before heading home. They had some beautiful quilts in the making set up in the room next to ours.
First served was homemade bread with peanut butter spread and apple butter and broccoli cole slaw.
The main course was chicken, ham, noodles, green beans, stuffing, and mashed potatoes and gravy.
Dessert was cherry pie, rhubarb pie, raspberry creme pie, and chocolate peanut butter pie.
I believe these buggies belonged to the ladies who were helping in the kitchen.
