FireKeeper's Casino & Amish Dinner
November 30, 2009

12.3.09:  Thank you again for a very fun trip and great dining experience.  The food was delicious and the atmosphere terrific.  I fell in love with the gas lights and was surprised at the amount of light they gave.  Rosie and her family are gems.  We had such fun watching the little girls eating their supper at the small table.  The littlest daughter was taking a bite for herself, then the next bite went to her baby doll.  Listening to Paul and the men josh with each other was hilarious.  Don't tell me the Amish don't have a sense of humor.     P. & C. We had another great day at Firekeeper's Casino in Battle Creek and at Rosie's house for her scrumptious Amish Dinner!  Of course, we can't take pictures at the casino, but I think Firekeeper's is now my favorite casino.  It probably has something to do with me coming home $50.00 ahead, playing on their money alone.  As anyone who goes on our casino trips knows, that is a huge win for me!

We arrived at Rosie's house on a nice bright sunny day.

Everyone was seated with a wonderful aroma filling the house.

Then it was time to bring on the food and dig in!

We had chicken, roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots, potato salad, dressing, rice pudding, bread and home made strawberry jam.

They then brought on dessert - Dutch Apple Pie and Raspberry Cheescake
