"Beauty and the Beast"
November 29, 2018

We headed to Drury Lane Theatre to see "Beauty and the Beast" on a day that snow and rain was forecast, but we were blessed with a chilly, but sunny day.  Trips to Drury Lane are always easy, with a drop off and pick up right at the door.

The dining room is always a lovely environment to enjoy a relaxing lunch with many new theatre-goers to us.

First served was a nice garden salad.

We had a choice of turkey and dressing

Seared chicken in sundried tomato sauce

Or Cavatelli pasta in creamy marinara.

I dug into my chocolate mousse desert before taking a picture.

We were dismissed to the beautifully decorated lobby to wait for the start of "Beauty and the Beast".

There was a gorgeous storybook tree made of roses, very appropriate to the theme of the play.  The roses looked so real, I had to lean in to take a good look to discover they were not real.

Of course, no pictures are allowed during the performance or of the scenery on stage.
