Again, we were blessed with a beautiful day for our day trip to Chicago for the Air & Water Show and Lunch Cruise.  I could have been a few degrees cooler to suit me, but it was a clear sunny day for a cruise on Lake Michigan.

Many, many thanks to Marcia Vargo, Barb Norkus, Judy Molnar, and Tomi Felton for allowing me to share their pictures on the web site.  The planes were much too fast for my photo-taking abilities, so I thank some of our passengers for the super pictures they took!

We arrived about an hour prior to boarding, giving everyone a little time to explore Navy Pier.  Out of our 51 guests, Denny was the only one not to rush onto Navy Pier so Barb could snap his picture.

Some photos prior to boarding The Odyssey.

It was boarding time and we were ushered to our reserved seating for a delicious, well-stocked buffet.

After lunch, we were able to go to the deck lounge to watch the air show, with some breathtaking maneuvers by the Blue Angels.

You could never imagine the amount of money involved with the boats on the lake.

Some of our passengers enjoying the view and excitement all around us.  As The Odyssey was going out onto the lake, there was a great breeze, making it tolerable.  But as we were heading back to Navy Pier, we must have been going with the breeze, as it turned very hot.  Someone said the temperature was 95 degrees.
